Little did she know, Ina has been an event planner her whole life. Growing up, she was always the one to organize the plans, bring the group together and create a reason to celebrate amongst her friends. That translated well into her life after college. Zeroing-in on non-profit work, Ina began at the Muhammad Ali Center as a guest relations and event coordinator. While at the Center, she worked with local government officials, celebrities, large corporations, non-profits and individuals coordinating all kinds of events.
Swept away, wanting to play a larger role in fundraising developement, Ina turned her attention to Home of the Innocents. There Ina spent six years organizing fundraising events that exponentially grew during her tenure. She has experience working with board and committee members, as well as major donors, and was also responsible for the direct mail campaigns. Her experience at the Home was invaluable and fulfilled her passion to help others live better lives
through her work.
Ina is a very active community member serving on the Board
of Directors for the NuLu Business Association and acting as Chair/Co-Chair for three years of the NuLu Festival. Ina is a
wife and mother of three to Ella, Lusiana and Jackson.
