Has the cold weather gotten to you yet?  Are you experiencing cabin fever and feel like you might be going mad?  Need to get out and do something.... ANYTHING?!  Well you are in luck!  The 2nd annual Wes Fest for 2015 is almost here!

Join other fellow enthusiasts of director Wes Anderson by dressing up in costume and having a ton of fun!  On Saturday, March 7 the Mercury Ballroom (611 S. Fourth Street) will host this splendid event from 8pm-2am.  And when I say "splendid" what I mean is this is going to be so much fun if you miss it you may cry.  The ballroom will be decked out in large scale Anderson decore and also feature video art installations, dioramas, and sculptures.  A costume contest will take place and offer prizes for the top 3 winners!  However, not everyone is interested in art or costumes, if that be the case than fear not!  There is going to be some excellent entertainment:

-Nellie Pearl

-Juanita

-Appalatin

-Quiet Hollers

-Oscar and The Picket Line

-DJ Matt Anthony

All the bands and DJ will be covering music from the films soundtracks as well as other artists.  Not to mention all proceeds from this event are being donated to support Fair Event Vendors Alliance.  To give you a taste of this amazing party here are some pictures from last years photo booth provided by Magbooth:

Tickests can be purchased in advance for $15 online or at the box office located at 625 S. Fourth Street.  Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $18; but I wouldn't wait to buy them, last year this event sold out!
